The best way we can accomplish our mission is with your help!  All successful endeavors have the support of a concerned community.

We are always in need of financial help to pay for land acquisition, legal fees  and maintaining the land. We spend thousands of dollars a year trimming trees that are threatening bordering properties to our protected land. Please join and Donate today!

Many families are wondering what they can do to preserve the land around them and around their neighborhoods before a builder buys it and builds a house.

• The first thing to do is to find out who owns it.  We can help identify ownership. 
• Make a reasonable offer -  Don't take no for an answer.  Ask the owner at least annually. People change their minds with the changing needs of their lives.
• Make a tax deductible donation to the Crownsville Conservancy and we can purchase the property for conservation.
• Put a conservation easement on your undeveloped land with us.  You can save money on property taxes and still have exceptions for things like fences or a spare septic field.
• Volunteer for the Conservancy and help us preserve your community. We need everything from clerical work to help keeping an eye on the land we preserve.
